Hello! I’m Jacopo, an MSc grad in Computer Science at Università Degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca who’s currently working as a researcher in the areas of Embedded Systems and Micromobility. You can reach me at: jack23247@pm.me.

I have an interest in computer architecture, system administration, networking, real-time systems and operating systems design in general. Thanks to my experience with retrocomputers I’ve had the opportunity to experience many different ecosystems, including UNIX-like systems, IBM midrange and mainframe systems and Windows NT. I like programming in C but I know several other languages, such as C++, Java and Ruby. I also use Bash and Windows’ Command Processor for scripting.

This blog is mainly devoted to collecting ramblings and random projects that aren’t involved enough to have their own repository, or don’t fall into a defined category.
